Cary Borish, an owner of the popular Philadelphia eatery Marathon Grill says it was fun and exciting to play host to the film crew and stars of The Dark Fields being shot in town this month. Amazing, he said, to see how many people it took on the set to get one scene shot. "Almost as many as it takes to get a hot bowl of our homemade matzah ball soup to our customers!"
BUZZ sat in the same booth at the Marathon at 1818 Market Street (two days later) that Hollywood star and homeboy Bradley Cooper sat in which overlooks the veranda of the restaurant - but, alas, only he made the cut in the flick that also stars Bobby De Niro.
All of this is terrific PR for Philly and so fun to see so many gainfully employed.
