Julia Millan Shaw joined BUZZCommunications in 2005 as a client services coordinator and account executive. Julia also works as New Jersey Field Staff for the Alaska Wilderness League.  As NJ Field Staff, she advocates for protecting public lands and waters in Alaska.  She has worked on local and national campaigns to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, The Tongass National Forest, and the Arctic Ocean.  She graduated with a BA in Sociology from Rutgers Camden in May 2004. While in Camden, Julia became involved with community activities and fundraising with several non-profit organizations, including the Leavenhouse Community. She also worked on open-space advocacy issues with Camden Greenways, Inc., and was the primary Research Assistant on Common Sense for Camden, a book taking a hard look at the political realities of Camden.
